A leading international company (consumer electronics industry) is looking for:

HEAD OF LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT

Range of responsibilities:

• to develop, implement and manage processes involved in a supply chain and liaise with a variety of parties, including suppliers of goods, carriers, forwarders, customs authorities, logistics services providers and clients
• to ensure structures to monitor the flow of goods
• to monitor quality, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods (logistics costs management);
• to coordinate and control the order cycle and associated information systems;
• to analyse data to monitor performance and plan improvements (logistics KPI management);
• to allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs;
• to negotiate with production, government authorities, customers and suppliers (logistics services providers);
• to develop business by gaining new contracts, analysing logistical problems and producing new solutions;
• to implement modern logistics technology and successful organizational development for employees
Main requirements:

• Male as a preference, 35-45 years old;
• Fluent written and spoken English;
• Minimum 10-year successful experience in logistics/supply chain, including in-bound, warehousing, customs clearance and transport logistics;
• At least 5 years of management experience, strong leadership;
• Independent, smart, active, fast learning, a business developer type;
• Strong communication skills;
• Cross-cultural awareness, liability to a different culture
