Senior UDB Administrator
Responsibilities:

• Perform capacity planning
• Maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures
• Conduct frequent performance and security reviews
• Participate in data modeling
• Work extensively with application developers and participate in application design
• Install, configure, administer and upgrade UDB server software in the Development and Test Environments
• Troubleshoot database issues, failures and other unexpected behavior
• Take direction from the lead Database Administrator for priorities
Requirements:

• Experience with UDB
• Must have good working knowledge of SQL and be able to tune SQL statements
• Strong technical skills in UDB data integrity, resources management, performance tuning
• Experience in code migration, database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle
• Excellent communication skills
• Good trouble shooting skills
• Proven experience of complex and critical applications
• Experience in financial industry is a plus
